UVA/LED Light

The orientation of an organism or plant in response to light is known as phototropism. The response is stimulated either towards the light radiation (positive phototropism) for insects for instance, or towards the opposite direction (negative phototropism). Insects are attracted by UVA radiation (between 315 and 400 nml), which has an attraction peak of 368 nm. The light produced by UVA attracts insects, keeping them away from food and people, while emitting high quality light that is pleasant to humans. A shatterproof lamp or tube prevents any risk of shards of glass being thrown.
